  1. Around 1:30, the panel is discussing the polygamy doctrine that is continuing in the current LDS culture. I can’t help but connect this idea with the data about Mormon women getting plastic surgery at much higher rates than any other demographic. Does the idea of needing to be desirable for leaders or to be more attractive than other women (potential wives) lead to increased pressure to be “perfect”?
