  1. Wonderful episode! Thank you, Nathan. The poem written by your daughter is profound and deeply touching.

  2. My sister sent this podcast to me. This entire presentation is all encompassing and profound. Nathan touches on many topics with such genuine thought provoking insight. He brilliantly and kindly reiterates that not only was he taught things as truths that were not truths but intentionally hidden truths that were labeled anti-mormon are now showing up on the church website claiming to be true. This cannot be enough to undo all the damage done through the ‘churchs’ intentionally lying. Thank you so very much for taking the time to tell us about your experience. I plan to send this podcase to my daughters and other family and friends that wonder why I have left the church, as this touches on many of the reasons.

On another note, Nathan you say that you would like to see the church change, but it really isn’t that simple. The foundation is false and the leadership knew it and yet propelled it to a tremendously lucrative organization that preys upon it’s membership. You say they need to change the BoM, but it would really need dismissed in it’s entirety. It is not a truth but a book written by Joseph Smith who plagiarized and fabricated all of its contents. The founder blackmailed children into plural marriage and took the law into his own hands on many occasions. There are no reasons to believe in this ‘church’ at all.

Out of our four children, three served missions, both of our sons contemplated suicide because of the ‘church’ and I was told that my inactive sons were going to hell and I’d spend eternity away from them. What kind of church preaches this and uses “Families can be together forever” as their Amway sales pitch? What kind of God would separate you forever from the people he sent you to dwell with on earth because they are not checking the list? The things the ‘church’ has done cannot be undone by simply coming forward with hidden truths, it needs to be dissolved with all monies returned to tithe payers.
