  1. I disagree with Sam in this episode for one specific reason. Muslims agree in a historical Jesus but don’t believe in his divinity and they are not Christians or claim to be

  2. I thought this was great. Amazing guests who called in.

Also just great p.r. for mormon stories for people to hear how respectfully and sincerely y’all engaged the callers.

  3. 1. define what makes a person a Christian. There are many versions of Christian from Roman Catholic to Jehovah Witness to Anabaptists to …the list goes on. Most versions consider Jesus to be the literal son of God, but not all. Ask a Jehovah Witness.

    2. More importantly, why is this an item of debate ? The Universe had a supernatural beginning – the big bang. It started 13-14 billion years ago from something we do not know what, and could not describe accurately. Without time or space being in existence one second before the big bang, it’s a question that cannot be answered. All earthly religions I know of recognize this but fill in the details with their holy books. The ancient books describe their histories, but it is nothing more than an attempt to humanize a creator and give him-her-it something the believers can latch on to.
