“We are safer, but not yet safe!” and “Black Bush”: My 2 favorite political clips on youtube

I just had to share these with you…. (warning, some foul language on the Black Bush clip)

  1. How can you think we are not safer? When airport baggage screeners are now FEDERAL EMPLOYEES? This must make us safer, as when it came up in Congress my liberal “friends” told us that those no-good Republicans who voted against it “must WANT more deaths!”
And we can rest in the assurance that any terrorists with liquid explosives will have to detonate them somewhere other than on a plane, since our protectors are carefully guarding against the last outrage.
Why, five years ago, I did not have my bags checked on going into the library. Surely that must make us safer, or they wouldn’t do it. And the New York police are busy making random searches at subway stations, ensuring that any bomber will have to walk to another stop. Or come back the next day. Or go upstairs and detonate it in the street. Doesn’t that make us safer?

  2. Thanks for some funny non-mo stuff John. I watch the Chapelle show sometimes but hadn’t seen that one.
