Is there any chance y’all could post the list of titles that were checked out along with the BoM?

At minute 28:00 you mention John Hyde Jr.’s book, “Mormonism – it’s leaders and designs”.
I have this book. It is fascinating in that he left Utah in the spring of 1857 – 6 months or so before the Mountain Meadows Massacre. This is the time he’s becoming disenchanted with Mormonism and he has learned of the questionable practices of the leaders.
Highly recommend this book for its info in the context of the conflict that particular year.

It’s just one more example of Mormons thinking everything revolves around them.

Some years ago I read Sarah Barringer Gordon’s “The Mormon Question: Polygamy and Constitutional Conflict in Nineteenth-century America” (published 2002). It looks at the legal and constitutional history of polygamy. And I feel sure it was there that I read of an agreement between Brigham Young and Abraham Lincoln where as a quid pro quo the latter agreed not to pursue the Mormons and the territory of Deseret over the matter of polygamy, provided the Mormons did not support the Confederacy. That is all I have ever read of any connection between Lincoln and Mormonism.
