I believe you. But, jeepers, guys. You’ve said the same thing over and over and over again. Ad-nauseum. And not very clearly. Let’s get on with the topic. Let’s have some new material here. 🤪
Does the bible say the Garden of Eden is in near “Assyria”?
“[2:10] A river flows out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it divides and becomes four branches.
[2:11] The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one that flows around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
[2:12] and the gold of that land is good; bdellium and onyx stone are there.
[2:13] The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one that flows around the whole land of Cush.
[2:14] The name of the third river is Tigris, which flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.”
The commentary seems to suggest that Joseph Smith was the real originator of the so called “Adam God Theory” rather than Brigham Young.
There are two problems with this view. First consider this statement from Joseph Smith:
“God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted Man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens. That is the great secret. If the vail was rent to−day, and the great God who holds this world in its orbit, and who upholds all worlds and all things by his power, was to make himself visible, − I say, if you were to see him to−day, you would see him like a man in form − like yourselves, in all the person, image, and very form as a man; for Adam was created in the very fashion, image, and likeness of God, and received instruction from, and walked, talked, and conversed with him, as one man talks and communes with another.”
So how does a singularity as was suggested, walk and talk and commune with another?

2nd. Brigham Young affirmed that he received this doctrine by revelation when commenting about the disbelief of members on this issue.
65yo Never Mormon my best friend from age 4-15 was 100% Mormon. He tied my shoes for me in Kindergarten. We both knew the LDS Church would pull us apart. I gave him an expensive gift before he went on his mission. Non Mormons are hurt by the church too.
BTW “Scot” is 45 minutes younger than me.
