Thank you so much for the
awesome series with Mike. I am currently deconstructing my faith and this has been so helpful.
As a women who has been a victim of betrayal and sexual assault; I have a lot to unpack when it comes to the patriarchy of the church. I read section 132 a year ago and I was absolutely struck at how much of it was straight up gaslighting!!! It sounds like a man trying to justify and convince his wife that his bad behavior is ok!! I see this behavior over and over with the couple I work with to overcome betrayal trauma!!

John et al, at Mormon Stories.

I hope you will invite Brian Hales to give his thoughts on your series on polygamy. I have studied this subject for a long time and it deserves to have a believing church members perspective.

The fact that all of Joseph Smith 35 plural wives never spoke against him even after Joseph died. Many of these women lived for a long time and could have spoke out against Joseph Smith and never did. That says a lot. Lucy Walker lived until 1910 and she died a faithful church.
