We’ve been working hard on renovating the Sunstone web site — and making it really easy to find back magazine articles (PDFs) and symposia audio presentations (MP3s).

Anyway, while goofing around, I stumbled on to this article. It’s a great read — Eugene England’s reflections on President David O. McKay entitled: The Place of David O. McKay in Mormon Culture.
Check it out if you have a moment, and please let us know if you like the direction of our new search. We don’t have all the content up yet — but it should be there by 12/31/07.

Thanks John (and everyone else involved)! That is really cool!

Thanks SO much for making the search available–I have been looking forever for an actual in-text search, rather than being confined to a more general search by topic or author name. This is a godsend!

I was blessed to take a class from Eugene England at BYU when I was an English major years ago (he was a last-minute replacement for Cecilia Farr) and I was impressed not only by his vast knowledge, but even more importantly, by his genuinely humble demeanor. He struck me as being one of the most authentically Christlike men I have ever known.

    John,

I second Terry’s thoughts. Bringing Sunstone’s archives on-line is a fanstastic idea. I can’t wait to dig in! Keep up the good work.
