For those of you looking for a worthy end-of-year donation project, we are super excited to announce that we have begun work on the first volume of what we hope to be a series of books derived from our rich catalog of Mormon Stories Podcast interviews. Volume 1 of this series will contain edited versions of the top 20 Mormon Stories interviews of all time. Four chapters for the book have already been transcribed and edited: Grant Palmer’s original interview, Dr. Michael Coe, Hans Mattsson, and Tom Phillipps. Bert Fuller – Ph.D. student in Medieval Studies – has agreed to edit this 1st volume, and John Hamer has agreed to typeset the text, and design the book cover.
We estimate that the book will cost around $15,000 to produce. 100% of your donations will go directly to the creation of this book. Also, we also plan to release full transcriptions of each interview, and to create shortened audio interviews of the original interviews, so that people can listen to a condensed version of these important stories if they so choose.
A generous donor has stepped forward to match any funds we raise for this project up to $7,500. If you would like to donate to this worthy cause, please contribute to this project.
Hi John what a wonderful idea, it just needs to be at a reasonable enough price for those like myself who are struggling financially, but if affordable l shall definately try to purchase it, very hopeful and looking forward to it becoming available.
Evidently, today is the “Eighth Annual Mass Resignation Event.” The picture blew me away. So did the article. https://mail.yahoo.com/#9057918953
Can you delete my post. Evidently, it’s a link back to my email.
