    Hello, John,

I’m late to this rodeo, but I really enjoyed your initiatory (pun intended) broadcast of Mormon News! I enjoyed your panel very much and I thought all of their comments were valuable. Good casting! If I weren’t so tired right now, I’d have more constructive things to say. Sorry.

I agree with you that it would be really interesting to have active members and others besides us former-Mo’s become part of the panel – if it’s possible to find someone people willing to enter the Dragon lair . 😉 I hope you continue to have more Mormon news broadcasts!

I love listening to Mormon stories. *I wish I could donate* – but I can’t afford to, due to personal circumstances . But I think it’s a great podcast. *All of your work, dedication, and time have not been in vain.* I think it’s important for you to know that because I’m sure that it’s been very difficult.

In some ways I think we all feel like we’ve gotten to know you after hearing your feelings and thoughts over so many episodes! On that note, congratulations on getting your PhD! In my next life, I want to become a psychologist, too.

    Best wishes,
    Karen Coates

This format works, loved it. Keep it going. I enjoyed the panelists/guests tremendously. Toward the end you addressed something of massive importance that we need to hear more of. The topic of “realizing that maybe there isn’t something wrong with you, rather the teachings of”…. If you’re beyond that it doesn’t sound like a big deal but I was stuck in that loop for over 30 years and once I opened up enough to allow that thought, my life has changed and weight has lifted. My wife and 1 of my sons is really struggling and sinking into depression because they don’t feel they live up to the standards. I find it nearly impossible to help them until they can ask that question openly. I die inside when I hear my wife crying about how, “of course she is miserable but only if she/we did better at reading scriptures, prayer, temple , tithing, and everything else that can suck the joy out of life….then she could finally feel some hsppiness.
