I’m guessing a Mormon Masturphobe couldn’t take it any more and blew a gasket. While most of the church walked away from that nonsense some time ago, I hear it’s still pushed in some of the Utah-Idaho Nazi brand of Mormonism. To bad he couldn’t have just harmed himself.

It’s sad when things like this happen.

I think tonight there are two things we can all do.

    1. Pray for those whose family members and friends died tonight, Pray for those who have been harmed and are in a medically precarious situation, pray for those who witnessed the event and are emotionally traumatized and wounded. I’ve never really understood the balance between a loving God that watches over us and free agencies potential for evil. I just hope that our prays can somehow reduce the pain and the harm tonight.

    2. It’s trite, but it’s easy to get caught up in the day to day trappings of life and to lose perspective of what is really important in life- our wives, husbands, family. Given that there are some families who will never have the chance to say “I love you” again, let’s all tell our families tonight how much they mean to us. They are what is lasting and what really matters.
