Podcasting 101

A computer with either speakers or headphones connected
A microphone connected to the computer
A broadband internet connection
An Internet browser, such as Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer
Flash Player v8
An Internet service provider account
iTunes version 4.9 or later
Audacity or other audio recording software. If you are using Audacity, you must also download the Lame MP3 encoder DLL which can be found here. Once you've downloaded the Zip file, extract it to your hard drive ("c:\lame" is a good place), and when Audacity asks you for the DLL, navigate to it, and select it.
Some type of HTML editor, such as Macromedia Dreamweaver. You can also use Notepad in Windows or Text Editor on the Mac platform
FTP editing software, such as Filezilla on Windows or Cyberduck on the Mac.
